Well...not down so much as just a black eye, but still :(

A car right in front of me was rubbernecking and rear ended another car. My following distance was a little too close and I wasn't sure I had enough braking distance, so I swerved off the hwy, into the grass and...er...performed a controlled forced deceleration maneuver with a nearby center divider pole.
I'm fine, damage is mostly cosmetic, and apparently those center poles are made of adamantium 'cos it did not suffer a single scratch on it. People who got rear ended weren't so lucky, vehicle at fault drove away. DON'T FREAKING HIT AND RUN PEOPLE, JESUS

Today's lesson? Uh...mustang parts are cheap *shrug*

Shit sorry to hear. I forget where I was but just recently there was a sudden stop on whatever road I was on, and I used a handy dandy exit lane to avoid plowing into people. Fun times.
